We are increasing our investments in innovation and technology development for speech processing. Therefore we are looking for creative, passionate and hands-on researchers with a solid background in speech processing and acoustics.

Key/Essential Areas of Responsibility
As a member of the technology development team, you are creating the next generation Voice products of NXP Software. You will explore different solutions, and refine the selected solution into a state-of-the art algorithm that is robust and user friendly, and ready for product development.

Together with the team, you are also scouting for new technologies from research institutes, guiding student projects, coaching product development and customer project teams when deep algorithm knowledge is required, etc.

Personal skills/competences
- Thorough knowledge of digital signal processing theory
- Good knowledge about audio and acoustics, mainly in the speech processing - domain (echo cancellation, noise suppression, etc.)
- Experience with algorithm design in Matlab
- Good knowledge of software development in (C for components and PERL for scripting)
- Creative and accurate working attitude.
- Communicative team player working in an international environment with different cultures
- Interest in Agile Scrum
- Drive for high quality deliverables
- Fluent in English
- Able to drive activities to closure, including proper communication in the organization

Experience level
Passion in signal processing and speech are more important than years of experience. Ideally you have a PhD in a relevant domain, or have build up equivalent experience in the industry.
