Job Description

MISSION
We are looking for a senior researcher in computer vision and image processing. One of his/her main roles is to design innovative algorithms in low-level video analysis (e.g., motion estimation, video segmentation, color processing )…

As a researcher, the successful applicant will:
• Propose innovative technologies and ensure development and transfer to Technicolor BUs
• Conduct, present research activities and demonstrate results in conferences, journals and trade shows.
• Generate intellectual property (patents)
• Act as technical advisor for permanent staff
• Supervise non permanent staff (PhDs, post-docs or interns)
• Propose new research directions to feed Technicolor innovation.
• Develop collaborations, especially with academia (projects, co-supervision of PhDs).

PROFILE
• Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Image processing, and connected fields.
• 5+ years research experience following PhD. Industry experience is appreciated.
• Strong background in Computer Vision and/or image processing
• Experience in software implementation (C/C++, openCV, matlab, Windows/Linux)
• High scientific level associated with strong technical leadership.
• Proven track record in publications, technical innovation and problem solving.
• Team spirit, enthusiastic, motivated, and creative attitude.
• Good communication skills to promote activities internally and externally.
• Fluent English mandatory
